
Electromechanical Engineering Technician

- Engineering lab Electromechanics including performing activities such as:
- Support mechanical component design and development projects, including execution of current product design and validation testing
- Assist in forensic evaluation of failed components
- Design and build custom test devices where required
- Troubleshooting of engine and vessel systems
- Coordination of engine builds for Current Product Test Requests
- Maintain and support development of additional process documentation and test standards
- Work closely with Current Product and EEE Engineers to resolve potential electrical product issues
- Work closely with other Current Product and CIA technicians as needed to support CPR projects.
- Associates of Applied Science A.A.S. (Engine Technology, Mechatronics, Physics, Computer Science)
- 5+ years of direct experience interacting with and supporting Engineering, Service and Manufacturing teams
- Experience with marine and/or automotive design and development
- Experience or knowledge of the marine/boating industry. This includes the application of parts within marine environment (saltwater)
- Working knowledge of Pro-E, Creo, AutoCAD or similar design software
- Working knowledge of instrumentation & controls
- Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in troubleshooting electromechanical systems
