- Work closely with our skilled and dedicated interdisciplinary team in order to maximize patient satisfaction and overall success based on diagnosis and comorbidities
- Apply clinical expertise as necessary including but not limited to family and staff education/training, recommendations and guidance for safe and successful discharge, communicating with Physicians to ensure fluency of care, etc.
- Complete documentation which follows regulatory guidelines (state, federal)
- Obtain and document relevant subjective and objective information during treatment sessions
- Provide therapeutic rehabilitative treatment to assigned residents.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Currently licensed to practice in State of MN. New graduates and temporary license holders are encouraged to apply.
- Must be patient and appreciative of realistic needs and goals of all clients.
- Genuine interest in persons with physical and psychological disabilities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with members of the health care team, clients, residents, families, visitors, vendors and all others that SLP would have interactions with.
- Must be able to follow Rehab policies and procedures as instructed and applicable to job responsibilities
- Must maintain work and client/resident confidentiality.
