Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | On-Call as NeededBe Part of the Team That Powers Commercial MaintenancePDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Maintenance Operating Engineer in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you'll ensure building and facility systems are operating at peak performance, directly supporting safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Your expertise will help keep mission-critical systems running smoothly while contributing to a culture of safety and innovation.What You'll DoOperate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across electrical, HVAC, plumbing/piping, and utility systems.Perform maintenance and monitoring of mechanical, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems.Handle preventative maintenance, purchasing, inventory, and contractor oversight.Clean, inspect, calibrate, and replace HVAC system components to maintain optimal performance.Record readings, adjust equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.Maintain tool and instrument inventory, ensuring readiness and compliance.Monitor quality and pricing of work performed by outside contractors.Recognize hazards, maintain safe work areas, and comply with all safety procedures.What You'll BringHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.0-2 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance or building systems repair.Knowledge of maintaining and repairing commercial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Ability to analyze and correct issues in complex systems.Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Preferred: Experience with Packsize X4, Numina, and conveyor systems.Why Join Us?At PDS Tech Commercial, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facilities.
