Job Title: Event Marketing Associate
Location: New York City or Remote
Position Type: Full-TimeCyberRisk Alliance (CRA) is seeking an Event Marketing Associate to join our Partnership Marketing team, with a primary focus on Cybersecurity Summits. This position reports directly to the Director of Partnership Marketing.The Event Marketing Associate will play a key role in driving attendance at CRA events and supporting broader audience engagement through strategic content marketing initiatives.Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Director of Partnership Marketing to execute strategic marketing plans for each event, including email, advertising, partnership recruitment, and social media (paid and organic).
  • Build creative assets such as HTML email invitations, banner ads, social media graphics and website graphics, ensuring that all content is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the event content team on copy and messaging that highlights and connects relevant programming elements to desired targeted audiences.
  • Create and manage event social media content calendars, working with internal and external partners on organic and paid social campaigns, providing direction on messaging, CTA, and branding.
  • Test campaigns and analyze results and effectiveness to make informed recommendations.
  • Attend in-person events to assist at registration, post and monitor social media accounts, and provide additional support as needed onsite.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for crafting compelling. messaging and connecting with diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with the following tools and platforms, though not required:
  • Graphic design software (e.g., Canva)
  • Digital marketing platforms
  • Email creation and design tools
  • Salesforce (SFDC)
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • Genuine passion for event planning and a dedication to delivering outstanding attendee experiences.
  • Willingness to travel for events, approximately 15–20%.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities simultaneously and performing under pressure, especially during peak event seasons.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, CRA is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account numerous factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates' qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000 to $65,000, which does not include other compensation benefits package.Equal Employment Opportunity
