- Determining the acceptability of parts and materials by checking the part number, physical condition, and required documentation (CoC's, FAA 8130-3's, engineering drawings, etc.)
- Input receiving inspection data into Costpoint (ERP system) to show current status of material.
- Ensure items received meet minimum shelf life and calibration requirements.
- Completing required paperwork for routing acceptable parts to stock, or shipping parts to customer.
- Monitoring discrepancies found during routine receiving inspection of parts and materials for trends indicating quality problems with suppliers; in particular, unapproved or suspected unapproved parts.
- Maintaining current knowledge of applicable procedures, methods and specifications directly related to the work assignment.
- Completing documents in a legible, detailed and comprehensive manner.
- Verify ESD packaging as flowed down on purchase order and comply to ESD procedures for ESD sensitive products.
- Verify shelf-life requirements and creating shelf-life labels for chemicals, paints, and adhesives.
- Perform routine warehouse quality audits and monitor the preservation of stored inventory.
- Complies with all regulatory/statutory, customer and contractual requirements.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have 2-5 years experience inspecting aviation parts
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal history and credit check for access to Government facilities. May be required to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing
- Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
- Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
- May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
