- High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an FAA-approved aviation maintenance technician school is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Military background w/747-8i experience is preferred
- 10 years demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, and modifications.
- Be familiar with My Boeing Fleet, able to read and understand aircraft engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Candidate will have experience configuring, troubleshooting and testing of aircraft systems.
- Candidate will be familiar with operational demands of the program aircraft and will possess or be able to obtain and retain a security clearance.
- Required skills include excellent written and oral communications and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Ability to travel is necessary, have a 'can do' attitude and enjoys being a part of a dynamic team.
- Employee will possess a Secret security clearance.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
