Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to move materials within a warehouse or storage facility.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves using the forklift.
  • Pick and prepare orders for delivery or production needs.
  • Inspect machinery and perform routine maintenance checks.
  • Assist with inventory management and maintaining organized storage areas.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating the forklift.
  • Responsible for spotting and directing the movement of trucks within the warehouse facility.
  • Assist in coordinating the loading and unloading of goods.
  • Ensure efficient and safe maneuvering of vehicles in the warehouse area.
  • Monitor inventory movement and assist with inventory management tasks.
  • Report any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations to the appropriate personnel.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid forklift operator certification or license or proven experience of at least 1 or more years in a Forklift Operating role
  • Experience operating a telehandler
  • Ability to spot and direct an equipment operator to place material in the correct location
  • Must be able to follow a map and work instructions
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Must be willing and able to work on their feet for most of the 10 hour work day
  • Ability to operate a forklift in a variety of weather and warehouse conditions
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
  • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods
Desired Experience:
  • Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
