- Lead, mentor, and supervise the second-shift custodial and skilled trades team, ensuring a safe, well-maintained campus.
- Act as second-in-command, providing leadership when the Facilities Director is away.
- Oversee custodial operations, MEP maintenance, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Manage work orders, CMMS, payroll, scheduling, safety, and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Building Automation Systems (Trane preferred).
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and leadership to support events, seasonal operations, and long-term facilities planning.
- Build strong relationships across the campus community with responsive communication and service excellence.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in facilities management, plant operations, or engineering services.
- Proven leadership experience in custodial operations, BAS, and MEP maintenance.
- Hands-on technical expertise with mechanical systems and building automation.
- Demonstrated success managing a comprehensive facilities program in a school, university, or campus environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Ability to lead during second-shift hours (2:00 pm -10:00 pm, Monday-Friday).
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
