The team is highly technical, engineering-driven (75% of the company), and focused on solving some of the hardest scaling problems in the industry.What You Will DoDesign and build a scalable platform that enables fine-tuning of large language models through code execution and static analysis.Work on systems that involve container runtimes, parsers, static code analyzers, and large-scale distributed data systems.Collaborate with applied research teams to ensure infrastructure supports billions of real-world code tasks across thousands of projects.Develop robust testing strategies including unit, integration, and performance testing for mission-critical systems.Contribute to the full lifecycle of infrastructure development: from architecture, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.Help shape the company’s engineering culture by working closely with some of the best minds in distributed systems and AI.Ideal Candidate Background8+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on building scalable, distributed systems (e.g., data pipelines, event-driven architecture, message queues, or large-scale cloud services).Strong programming experience in Go, C, C++, or Python.Experience working with Linux system programming and container runtimes (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Hands-on experience with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and performance optimization.Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Proven ability to build systems that are reliable, performant, and developer-friendly.PreferredExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.).Strong interest in the intersection of AI, ML infrastructure, and developer tools.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (not required, but a plus).Willingness to travel periodically for team offsites (monthly or bi-monthly).Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range: $168,000 – $270,000Highly competitive equity packageFull health, dental, and vision benefitsRemote-first culture with flexibility to work from anywhere (East Coast US / EMEA time zones preferred)Opportunities for travel to team offsites in EuropeWork alongside an elite, engineering-driven team with access to massive compute resources and long-term funding runwayWhy this role is exciting: You’ll be building infrastructure at the frontier of AI research – systems that other companies will aim to replicate.
