Handle pretest and screening for See to Succeed program. Assist with registration of students, assist with reporting, front desk duties, speak with parents, provide referrals and data collection. Must have experience working with children and Microsoft experience. Must have a valid Texas driver's license and comply with AP 2-2 policy. Must be Bilingual/English. Will work no more than 24-30 hours a week.KNOWLEDGE:
Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or a GED
LICENSE:
May require a valid Texas driver's license and compliance with the City of Houston's policy on driving.
EXPERIENCE:
6 months of experience are required.PHYSICAL EFFORT:
The position occasionally requires stooping or bending. Occasional very light lifting, such as three or four reams of papers or books (up to 20 pounds or an equivalent weight) may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions.
PHYSICAL SKILL:
Requires the ability to make simple gross motor responses within large tolerances.
