- Install fire alarm systems, including electrical wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes.
- Program, test, and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and emergency repairs of fire alarm systems.
- Ensure all systems meet local licensure requirements, including acquiring and maintaining necessary licenses (e.g., Denver Fire Alarm Installer license).
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
- Travel to job sites across Colorado as necessary (company vehicle provided).
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed and provide clear reports to clients and management.
- Experienced: Hands-on experience in the fire alarm industry, including installation and inspection.
- Licensed: Valid Denver Fire Alarm Installer license or ability to obtain licensure shortly after hire.
- Knowledgeable: Familiarity with all applicable NFPA codes and standards.
- Skilled Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Physically Capable: Ability to carry and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.
- Complete onboarding and training to understand company systems, tools, and processes.
- Shadow senior technicians to learn workflows and gain hands-on experience.
- Begin performing basic installations and inspections under supervision.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, including system testing and programming.
- Obtain required licensure and certifications.
- Build relationships with clients and team members to foster collaboration.
- Independently manage installations, troubleshooting, and inspections.
- Provide recommendations to improve workflows and enhance client satisfaction.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to company strategies.
