Practices autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act and hospital job description. Input, extract, and evaluate data for meaningful use and patient centered care. Responsible for direct patient care, to include obtaining vitals, patient assessment & education, etc.
QualificationsMinimum
  • Associates degree of Nursing and greater than two years of RN experience
  • At least two years of pediatric experience
  • Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ)
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) * Driver's License: AZ (AUTO:AZ)
  • Current AZ DPS level one fingerprint clearance card within 7 days of hire
  • Excellent communication and team building skills
  • One year of administrative experience
  • Willingness to learn to drive/operate mobile clinic for emergency purposes only
  • Strong office management and multitasking skills
  • Certification in school-based vision and hearing screening procedures within 18 months of hire
Preferred
  • Bachelors degree of Nursing
Greater than two years of outpatient/ambulatory facility experience * One year of administrative experience is a health care setting
  • Experience working in a school setting
  • Bi-lingual
