As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll ensure complex mechanical and controls systems are installed, tested, and optimized to meet stringent project specifications and energy performance goals.ResponsibilitiesLead commissioning and functional performance testing of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, humidifiers, VAV boxes, Cooling Towers, and AHUs.Verify installation and operation of control sequences across BAS/BMS platforms with DDC controls.Collaborate with mechanical contractors, controls technicians, and project managers to resolve performance issues.Execute equipment startup procedures, document test results, and prepare detailed commissioning reports.Support energy efficiency measures through system optimization, fault detection, and corrective action.Key QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.3+ years’ experience commissioning HVAC equipment and controls in commercial or institutional environments.Strong technical knowledge of chillers, boilers, humidifiers, cooling towers, pumps, ductwork, and terminal units.Hands-on proficiency with BAS/BMS platforms and familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and DDC controls.Skilled in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and commissioning software tools.Preferred certifications: BCxA, CxA, PE, or LEED AP.Please send a current copy of your resume with work history to rick@libertyjobs.com for consideration.Rick Iswalt
