
Pipeline Engineering Manager

- Design and engineer pipeline systems for the safe and efficient distribution of oil and gas products, considering factors such as flow rates, pressure requirements, environmental impact, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations for pipeline projects, and develop project plans accordingly.
- Coordinate and lead project teams through all phases of the pipeline lifecycle, including concept development, engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
- Implement industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in pipeline design, integrity management, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for pipeline projects.
- Perform regular inspections, assessments, and maintenance activities to monitor and ensure the integrity and reliability of the distribution pipelines.
- Analyze and interpret data from pipeline monitoring systems, inline inspections, and integrity assessments to identify potential issues and implement appropriate remedial actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, operating procedures, and integrity management plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging technologies in pipeline engineering and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
- Act as a technical resource and provide expert advice to internal teams, project managers, and stakeholders on pipeline engineering matters.
- PE License Required and PMP preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or civil engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 5+ years experience in pipeline integrity engineering
- Working knowledge of ASME B31.4 and B31.8 pipeline codes
- Strong understanding of risk-based analysis methods, including FMEA and FTA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.

- Extensive knowledge of regulatory work processes and filings.
