We're seeking a future team member for the role of Associate II to join our Risk & Compliance team supporting Markets Risk. This role is located in Pittsburgh PA In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: We need you to assist with the ongoing oversight of day-to-day market risk management of all trading activities within the Markets Business - including but not limited to making sure all trading businesses stay within their limits, understanding the business strategy, be familiar with the risk appetite and risk-taking activities by the front office. Assist the assigned trading businesses with the risk evaluation of their existing positions. You will get to build familiarity with financial products, their valuation, and the financial risk coming from these positions. Make sure that the reported risk is accurate and any changes are properly explained Participate in the development of new analytic tools, reports, and presentations to all stakeholders Begins to build working relationships with the other Risk Management stripes (credit, operational, etc.), Front Office, Technology, Modeling, and Reporting teams and members of the business line team. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 1-3 Years of experience within a banking environment is required Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Risk Management or similar major is required Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA are preferred Excellent team player with effective project management skills, collaboration, and communication Additional core skill requirements include understanding of the applied and interpretation of analytics results, critical thinking and problem solving.
