Our client is a well-established, mid-sized general contractor with decades of success in the construction space. The team recently celebrated 38 years of building lasting relationships and delivering high-quality projects across a variety of market sectors-including religious facilities, financial institutions, healthcare, multifamily, and more. With continued success and growth, they are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team!
  • Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials
  • Help prepare, issue, and track subcontractor agreements and purchase orders
  • Participate in project meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
  • Support the submittal and RFI processes, ensuring timely responses and documentation
  • Maintain project documentation, including drawings, logs, daily reports, and change orders
  • Help with permitting and compliance with local codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure smooth communication between the office and field
  • Assist with project closeout procedures, including punch lists, O&M manuals, and final inspections

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction (general contracting experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
