  • In this role, you will report to the Associate Tax Director, US International Tax, and you will assist in the preparation and review of all US international tax calculations and with all activities relating to the US international tax compliance and provision functions
  • Assist with preparation of international aspects of the Company's consolidated Federal Income tax and Federal Partnership tax return.; International components include, but are not limited to: Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, Forms 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, Certain M-3 Adjustments, Tax Return disclosure statements
  • Assist with preparation of tax return workpapers and calculations of foreign source income, foreign tax credit, E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, dividend distributions and other relevant computations
Assist with preparation of the international tax calculations for the quarterly and annual income tax provision, per ASC 740 * Collaborate with business units and various corporate departments to gather information and understand the impact of such information on tax returns
  • Perform tax technical research and draft memos supporting positions
  • Provide support on IRS audits including drafting responses and gathering relevant supporting information
  • Assist with research related to mergers & acquisitions and other international tax planning projects
  • Identify, recommend and assist in implementation of policy, process and digitalization improvements to streamline processes, improve analysis, and create more valuable output for stakeholders
  • Monitor and assist with changes that result from legislative updates and changes in US International tax laws
  • Assist with preparation of Federal and State Income tax extensions and returns as needed during major compliance deadlines
What makes you great
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, plus at least 3-4 years of experience either in public accounting and/or private corporate tax with exposure to US international tax concepts
  • Possess basic understanding of US International tax rules
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be highly organized and a strong team player
  • Ability to work cross functionally within overall Tax and Finance Teams
  • CPA and/or a Master of Tax is strongly preferred along with knowledge of ASC 740 Tax Accounting
  • Systems experience with Hyperion, CORE, SAP, JDE, CORPTAX (U.S. Compliance) is preferred
