Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 AnnuallyPosition Summary: The Sales Support and Supply Analyst is a critical role responsible for both the seamless execution of daily operations and the data-driven optimization of our sales and supply chain. This individual will provide foundational support to our Account Managers while also analyzing market data, managing supplier relationships, and improving internal processes. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, analytical, and proactive professional who can manage both tactical and analytical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Execution & Support:
  • Process fuel delivery orders accurately, serving as a primary communication hub between sales, dispatch, and accounting.
  • Handle all new account paperwork, from sending initial forms to ensuring final submission.
  • Retrieve and distribute invoices, statements, and proof-of-delivery documents as requested by the sales team and customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving logistical, pull-number, and billing issues with sub-haulers and suppliers.
  • Analysis & Optimization:
  • Analyze daily market data (e.g., DTN “Best Buy”) to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide data-driven purchasing recommendations.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including gallons lifted against contracts, supplier performance, and the ROI on rental assets.
  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of secondary suppliers, handling regular communications and ensuring performance standards are met.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in workflows and develop proposals for improvement; own and refine the pull-check procedure with Accounting.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze sales, inventory, and supply chain data to identify trends and forecast demand.
  • Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel is required. Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong plus.
  • Attention to Detail & Organization: Precision in tracking shipments, inventory, and pricing. Must be able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders efficiently.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identifies supply chain bottlenecks or sales anomalies and develops actionable solutions under pressure.
  • Relationship Building: Builds trust and collaborates effectively with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal sales reps.
  • Communication Skills: Clearly conveys insights from data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a role with exposure to sales operations, inventory management, or supply chain coordination, preferably within the petroleum or a related industry.
