- This position coordinates and processes for Deaconess Home Medical Equipment & Infusion/Freedom Medical or its subsidiaries (hereafter HME), referrals/requests from Case Manager/Referral RNs, Ancillary Services, physician's offices, other referral sources and clients. This position is responsible for accurate charging, billing, follow-up, refunding, and posting. Responsible for the resolution of patient inquiries pertaining to billing.
- High school diploma required. One year related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy is necessary. Additional training in medical terminology, data processing and pharmacy experience preferred.
