A respected healthcare organization is seeking a Network Administrator (Specialist) to manage and secure its IT infrastructure across multiple clinical and administrative facilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity and high-performance operation of systems vital to patient care and hospital operations.Network Administrator Responsibilities:Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot core network components, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access pointsCollaborate with cybersecurity professionals to implement security protocols, maintain HIPAA compliance, and oversee access control systemsConduct regular network audits and performance monitoring to proactively address issues and optimize operationsProvide technical support for EHR systems and other healthcare-related applications, ensuring reliable connectivity for clinical and business functionsWork cross-functionally with IT leadership, clinicians, and administrative staff to align technology with operational needsNetwork Administrator Qualifications:Associate's degree in Information Technology or a combination of relevant certifications and hands-on experienceMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in network administration; healthcare experience is highly preferredStrong working knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, intrusion prevention, and wireless technologiesExperience with regulatory compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, is strongly desiredIndustry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE are preferredDirect hire, onsite position with base salary in the $50,000 - $65,000 range plus benefits.
