The VP will lead all aspects of corporate development, from deal sourcing and strategic assessment to due diligence, negotiation, and post-merger integration. This leader will collaborate closely with the executive team to identify strategic gaps and opportunities, develop a comprehensive inorganic growth strategy, and build relationships with potential acquisition targets and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with deal execution expertise and possess a deep understanding of the education technology landscape.What you'll be doingM&A Strategy and Execution- Develop and implement a comprehensive M&A strategy aligned with Udemy's long-term vision. Lead the end-to-end M&A process, from target identification to deal closing and integration planning.Strategic Partnerships - Identify, structure, and negotiate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances that create value and drive growth.Deal Sourcing and Pipeline Management - Proactively build and manage a pipeline of potential acquisition targets and strategic partnership opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, investors, and advisors.Due Diligence Leadership - Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, technical, legal, and cultural assessments. Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the due diligence process.Valuation and Financial Modeling - Lead sophisticated financial analyses and valuation models to evaluate potential transactions.
