A senior-level opportunity to lead and mentor within a dynamic legal team. This role is central to ensuring calendaring accuracy and compliance, requiring advanced expertise in litigation docketing systems and court procedures. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret legal documents to identify and calendar critical litigation dates and deadlines.
- Create, update, and manage events within the Aderant CompuLaw system; perform manual date calculations as necessary.
- Maintain the integrity and precision of all docket data; generate and distribute detailed reports for litigation teams.
- Proactively research, monitor, and track changes to federal, state, and local court rules and procedures.
- Develop training materials and mentor junior docketing staff on system use and procedural updates.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and court personnel to resolve complex docketing inquiries.
- Support the Docketing Manager with special projects and firm-wide docketing initiatives.
- Education: A high school diploma is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experiences: 5–7 years of direct litigation docketing experience, with proven expertise in CompuLaw, CourtAlert, or eDockets. Experience in a senior or lead capacity is essential.
- Other:
- In-depth knowledge of litigation processes and court rules across multiple jurisdictions.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) credential is a significant plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
- Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
