
Dental Lab Technician I

- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Bead and Pour impressions
- Base models
- Trim models
- Set bites
- Articulate models
- Pour and jig cases to be relined
- Make duplicate models
- Pushing and pulling cart of work around work area.
- Review final work and check completely that all quality standards have been met before passing the work to the next technician.
- Bite Blocks
- Custom Trays
- Simple Set-ups
- Articulations
- Maintain a clean work area
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to complete assigned workload daily.
- Preparing (box and pour impression material, trim models, set and seal bites and articulate.
- Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated employment experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Must have 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Removable Dental Laboratory Technician.
- Laboratory equipment that may include: grinders, lathes, ovens, burners, steamers and boiling water.
- Requires sitting for long periods of time, uncommon posture when fabricating and continuous maneuvering of hands and fingers while working with small tools.
