We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Picker and Packer Technicians with picking and packing in a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retrieving items via cart picking, ensuring order accuracy, and safely maneuvering warehouse equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to meet performance metrics efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:Operate automated picking and packing machinery to fulfill customer ordersMonitor and load products into automation systems as neededInspect items for accuracy and quality before packingLabel, seal, and stage packages for shippingMaintain clean and organized workstationsIdentify and report system errors or equipment malfunctions to maintenanceFollow safety protocols and company procedures at all timesAssist in inventory control and cycle counts as requiredWork collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals
- Follow instructions and warehouse procedures to ensure timely customer order fulfillment.
- Utilize tablets for picking tasks and inventory tracking.
- Report any discrepancies or defective items to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain 6S standards throughout warehouse and pick areas to uphold organizational efficiency.
- Consistently meet established picking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Adhere to all workplace safety policies and guidelines.
- A picker packer works in a warehouse and receives ordered goods, sraps them and prepares them for shipment to other places.
- A picker packer is a warehouse hole involving physical activity where the individual manages company orders, selects appropriate packing materials and follows safety protocols among other responsibilities.
- Key skills for pickers packers include good teamwork, physical fitness and stamina, attention to detail, a quality oriented mindset and excellent time management skillset.
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Basic proficiency with tablets and warehouse management systems.
- Bilingual candidates preferred for effective communication with diverse teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and conditions.
