- Design and develop hardware, software, and algorithms for radiographic and CT imaging subsystems
- Participate in the development of image acquisition and processing algorithms, including AI-based solutions.
- Conduct system integration, performance testing, and troubleshooting across the imaging chain
- Author design documentation, risk assessments, and test protocols in accordance with quality system and regulatory standards
- Analyze field data and imaging system logs to diagnose failures and recommend improvements
- Integrate imaging solutions in support of product features by collaborating with product teams
- Support production, service, and sustaining engineering with imaging system maintenance and enhancement
- Prepare and present technical analyses, designs, and reviews
- Support project management oversight and execution to ensure successful product development outcomes
- Provide support to field engineers and clinical support staff to troubleshoot system performance and image quality

- Required:
- A minimum of two years of related experience and/or training, in a product development, academic, or research environment
- Familiarity with fundamentals of imaging physics and signal processing techniques
- Proficient use of modern tools (e.g. Matlab, Python, C++, AI) for simulation and development
- Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills
- Collaborate effectively across diverse technical and functional teams
- Demonstrated aptitude for accelerated learning and productivity
- Preferred:
- Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant technical discipline
- Five years of design and development experience in imaging technology
- Direct experience in the development of Radiography and CT imaging chains including x-ray sources, detectors, calibration and correction, image processing, reconstruction, and related software
- Fluency in software and algorithm development environments
- Experience leveraging machine learning solutions and toolkits
- Experience with product development in a Medical Device or Regulated Product environment
- Experience with technical project management or leadership
- Familiarity with requirement and test management tools
