The Finishing Oven Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial ovens used in the curing and finishing of fiberglass products. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, safety, and consistency in accordance with production standards.Key Responsibilities:Load and unload fiberglass components into and from curing ovens using appropriate tools and protective equipmentMonitor oven settings and control temperatures, timers, and curing cycles according to process specificationsInspect products before and after the curing process for quality, defects, and conformance to specificationsDocument temperatures, times, and lot information as required by quality control protocolsPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of ovens and surrounding work areasReport equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to maintenance or supervisory personnel promptlyAdhere to safety procedures and company policies, including use of PPEAssist with packaging and moving finished products to the next production stageCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goalsQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (fiberglass or composites industry a plus)Ability to read and understand technical instructions and production sheetsBasic mechanical skills and ability to operate industrial machinery safelyStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to stand, lift, bend, and work in high-temperature environments for extended periodsWillingness to work overtime or different shifts as neededWorking Conditions:
This job requires exposure to high temperatures, fiberglass dust, and industrial noise. Proper safety gear (PPE) is mandatory.
