Process Maintenance Reliability Technician

- Must complete and pass all applicable induction and safety tests
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment
- Must have a good understanding of mechanical equipment.
- Must be able to climb steps and ladders and work at heights as required
- Able to handle hazardous materials.
- Must be able to work in a team environment or alone
- Able to follow directions and to complete quality work
- Must be able to learn how to operate mobile equipment including: forklift, scissor lift, man lift and telehandler
- Self-motivated
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with little supervision
- Must be able to operate all workshop equipment
- Working knowledge of basic computer systems (i.e. Microsoft Office products)
- Basic mechanical Skills.
- Minimum 1 year of industrial or mining mechanical experience desirable.
- Experience with Industrial Lubrication or material handling desirable
- Experience with Oil sampling programs desirable.
- Vibration data collection desirable
- Thermal camera use desirable.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
- Occasionally may be required to work early morning or evening hours to meet global organizational needs.
- Work is in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine environment, including hart hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.
