ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Engineer to support our team in the Southern Region. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of our capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects by providing critical coordination and administrative support. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding with a meticulous approach to documentation, scheduling, and communication to support project teams from inception to completion.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHProject Coordination & Support
  • Coordinate all aspects of project mobilization and site setup, including designing and maintaining detailed batch plant layouts in AutoCAD.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive scopes of work for vendors and third-party contractors.
  • Provide support for major CAPEX projects by assisting with scheduling and tracking project milestones.
  • Serve as a key point of contact to coordinate with our RMX (Ready-Mix) division, discussing project progress and resource needs on a bi-weekly basis.
Technical & Documentation Management
  • Maintain a complete Engineering Documentation Folder, including all electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil drawings, as well as lift plans and method statements for working at heights and confined spaces.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for plant failures and maintain records of findings and resolutions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in documenting cost-savings projects related to third-party services.
  • Assist with digital transformation initiatives, including maintaining records for predictive maintenance (e.g., vibration charts) and tracking data from digital tools.
  • Maintain and update project technical documentation and a shared library to facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
Health & Safety
  • Adhere to and support all health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist in promoting a safe work environment by ensuring all team members use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
Other
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. For example, provide administrative and coordination support for project development and bidding. This includes assisting in the preparation of pricing and profitability analyses, along with formatting and organizing all related documentation for execution, safety, and quality control plans

ABOUT THE ROLE
The basic function of the Plant Manager is to provide the necessary leadership to plan, direct, organize,
coordinate and control the mining of raw materials and the production of shippable product at the assigned
Plant in a manner to meet Aggregate Dispatcher requests on a timely and cost efficient basis. The Plant
Manager will be tasked with ensuring that an appropriate quality product is made at the Plant.
The Plant Manager will ensure proper staffing and monitoring of the inventory status at the Plant and in
addition will coordinate activities with the following departments: Aggregate Operations Department -
Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance Department, and Quality Control Department of the Region in addition Regional
Administration / Financial function.
The Plant Manager will analyze and monitor production efficiency / productivity to ensure the Company is
fully utilizing on site vehicles and plant equipment at the assigned location. In addition, the Plant Manager will
develop mining and production strategies and tactics to ensure an approach to raise productivity levels,
maintaining safety as a top propriety, while controlling the costs of the assigned location.WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISHConsistently identify new operational opportunities and develop strategies for accomplishing the
attainment of improved efficiency and productivity.
Address the needs of the customer while at the same time promoting and protecting the long-term
interests of the Company.
Initiate and implement production and scheduling related programs, strategies and techniques that result
in increased productivity, and maintain safe operations of the assigned Plant, while containing the
budgeted expenses of the assigned plants.
Manage the performances of subordinate personnel, work independently, meet deadlines and manage
the assigned Plant with fiscal integrity.
Delegate responsibilities; must be able to objectively evaluate the performance of subordinates; and must
be able to hold others accountable in a constructive manner.
Communicate with site crew which includes plant operator, loader operators and laborers. Depending on
labor situation and plant size may need to load and/or be part of operating crew.
Supervise team to maintain production and efficiency. Schedule production and execute preventative
maintenance routines
Maintain sufficient inventory levels at site to service customers' needs
Responsible for the rail circuit loading and unloading between Stringtown and DFW area
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and

Education: Bachelor's degree or years of equivalent experience
Field of Study Preferred: Mining Engineering, Management
Required Work Experience: 5-7 years Aggregate Mining and related Raw Materials Plant Production
