Sr. Program ManagerOur Round Rock, TX team is growing! We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to join our Order and Project Management team. You will be responsible for providing the strategy, planning, and execution of engineering NPI projects. The function controls project cost and manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. This role manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.Location: Round Rock, TX (onsite)We take care of our people!Paid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I I *Your Challenge:Managing cross functional teams, both internally and externallyHigh value sub-contractor managementTake responsibility for all aspects of the assigned project(s), leading the project team to deliver within timescales and budgets.Financial forecasting and performance monitoring, i.e. Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost of Sales (CoS), Estimates at Completion (EACs), Gross Margin (GM) and Invoicing / Cash flow.Delivering project financial performance that matches or exceeds budgetOrganize, plan and progress, monitor and report on all aspects of the project allocated (technical, timescales, cost and risk)Effective co-ordination of change control and claim managementIdentification and management of project risk and issuesIdentification for opportunities to expand business areas, through project scope increasesUnderstanding and reporting project performance – this includes providing effective leadership and taking appropriate action where team performance deviates.Manage the interface with the Customer and key suppliersRepresent the Company at meetings (internal and external) and provide minutes and/or reports as required.Ensure that all communications, both verbal and written, are clear, unambiguous and correctly routed.Change / Claim Management (preparation and negotiation of)Prepare and contribute to bids as required, including generating technical proposals and cost estimates within agreed (often-short) timescales.What You Bring:Previous Senior Project/Program Management experience, ideally gained in an engineering environmentProven ability to build and develop strong relationships with both internal and external customersProject Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferredBachelor’s Degree in mechanical, electrical/electronic or manufacturing field preferredProactive approach to Continuous Improvement and KPIsProvides written communications (e.g. documented plans and scheduled) and communicates in real time with the project team using meetings and verbal or non-verbal cues.Progressively elaborates high-level information into detailed plans throughout the project life cycleFamiliarization of Regulated Industry Contract Terms or equivalentUp to 15% travel to other CW locations for quarterly reviewsWho We AreCurtiss Wright Round Rock is a global engineering and design manufacture leader with just over six decades of experience designing for heavily regulated markets, such as nuclear, aerospace, oil and gas, and more.
