Clinical Research Coordinator II – Interventional EndoscopyPosition SummaryThe Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) supports clinical research efforts by planning, coordinating, evaluating, and performing nursing care for researchparticipants and collecting data for assigned clinical trials. This role operates under limited supervision and adheres to FDA regulations and ICH/GCPguidelines.Key Responsibilities
  • Protocol Management: Coordinates multiple clinical trial protocols, ensuring accurate execution and follow-up.
  • Patient Advocacy: Ensures informed consent is obtained and maintained, prioritizing patient safety and rights.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintains accurate, legible, and timely documentation; manages study records and medications securely.
  • Procedure Support:Must assist in interventional endoscopy procedures and related gastroenterology interventions as part of clinical trial execution.
  • Communication: Acts as liaison between investigators, sponsors, IRB, and the Office of Sponsored Programs.
  • Team Coordination: Oversees support staff, lab technicians, and assistants to ensure protocol adherence.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Prepares and reviews documentation for study start-up, modifications, renewals, and terminations.
  • Sponsor Collaboration: Assists with site monitoring visits and communicates effectively with sponsors.
  • Flexibility: Works flexible hours and remains available for research-related inquiries.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of clinical research experience
OR
  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of clinical research experience
OR
  • Accredited allied health certificate with 6 years of clinical research or healthcare experience
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree in healthcare, research, or related field
  • Must have prior experience in gastroenterology or interventional endoscopy
  • Must be able to assist in procedures within the gastroenterology department
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Additional certifications (e.g., medical assistant, phlebotomy)
Schedule & Location
  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM (flexible)
