SummaryAngel Face Preschool is seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Assistant Director to join our leadership team. This position plays a key role in assisting with the planning, development, organization, and management of programs and systems for staff, parents, children, and administration. The Assistant Director supports the Director in ensuring high-quality care, strong family relationships, and the retention and growth of enrollment.The ideal candidate will have classroom teaching experience and a passion for supporting teachers in creating a nurturing, play-based learning environment. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for children.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance educational programs and improve student outcomes.
  • Manage budgeting processes, including resource allocation and financial planning for the preschool.
  • Train and supervise teaching staff, fostering professional development and growth.
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to promote the preschool’s mission and vision.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback to continuously improve educational offerings.
RequirementsQualifications
  • AA/BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field; or current CDA.
  • Proven experience in leadership within an educational setting.
  • Strong management skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of education administration principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, staff, and community members.
  • 3 years classroom teaching experience in early childhood education.
