We are seeking a skilled I&E (Instrumentation, Inspection & Electrical) Technician to join our team in North Dakota. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure efficient operations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and calibrate instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and instruments.
- Conduct diagnostics and repairs on malfunctioning equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure optimal system performance.
- Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications for installation and repair purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other staff.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation technology, or related field preferred.
-Electrical journeyman's licence (required)
- Proven experience as an I&E Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.Working Conditions:
