Hours of Work: Day shiftDress Code: Colored pants or skirt, supportive walking shoes, uniform top, name tag, and maintain a neat and clean appearance.Essential Requirement of Work: (No specific requirements) * Previous housekeeping experience preferable.

Principal Job Responsibilities:Responsibility: Maintain residents’ rooms in neat and tidy order.Tasks: * Dusting in Resident’s room.
  • Clean window casings.
  • Wipe down light fixtures on walls.
  • Wipe down bed rails as needed.
  • Wipe down all pictures and nick knacks.
  • Wipe off nightstands and dressers.
  • Change dollies.
  • Wipe down doors and closet doors.
  • Wash mirrors.
  • Empty garbage.
  • Sweep floor.
  • Mop floor.
  • Wash windows.
  • Wash resident wheelchairs, commodes, and other resident equipment in room.
Responsibility: Maintain cleanliness of residents’ bathrooms.Tasks: * Clean vents.
  • Clean sinks and toilets.
  • Clean mirrors.
  • Clean all pipes.
  • Empty wastebaskets.
  • Supply towels, toilet paper, and soaps as needed.
  • Scrub floor.

  • Bring cleaning supplies up and stock shelves.
  • Keep vacant rooms ready for new residents.
  • Report needed repairs to maintenance.
  • Adjust to schedule changes.
  • Clean windows twice a year – Spring and Fall. Spot clean as necessary.
  • Visit assigned resident on a regular basis. (Recommended 5 minutes a day)
Professional and Personal Growth: * Attend in-service and mandatory meetings are required.
  • Observe all personnel policies.
  • Conduct self in a professional, friendly manner regarding contact with resident’s family and staff.
