This position will be responsible for owning key FP&A processes as well as assisting with business partner strategy to facilitate management-level decision support, spend forecasts, and other critical strategic analyses. An ideal candidate must have a proven background in finance, accounting, and data analysis.A career with purpose.A career built on making dreams come true.A career built on building zero defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules.Your Responsibilities on the TeamPreparing financial plans and monthly reporting for all technology departments and the wider technology organization.Building annual budgets and forecasts for different technology departments and consolidating into one master budget.Analyzing previous budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis to explain discrepancies.Ensuring the accuracy of all financial data including taxonomy, data tagging and categorization, and cost center management.Liaising with senior management, department heads, and other key leadership positions to build trust through providing relevant data including trends, risks, and other insights.Creating financial models to predict growth and forecast performance including allocation models for cloud spend.Analyzing technology-wide financial strategy and planning and recommending opportunities such as cost optimization across the technology portfolio.Evaluating new and existing projects including appraising cost assumptions and value.Helping to drive financial process transformation and efficiencies to increase effectiveness.Building financial presentations and dashboards using Power BI and other tools with clear and structured storylines and narratives.Assisting with monthly reconciliations of suspense accounts for capital spend and prepaid costs.Collaborating across the team to drive best-in-class culture.Additional RequirementsStrong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively and objectively prioritize work.High degree of confidence in financial modeling with an unparalleled attention to detail across financial data, reporting, and analysis.Ability to deal with ambiguity, develop recommendations and drive solutions proactively in order to look after complex processes with multiple stakeholders.Strong end-to-end problem-solving skills and thought leadership including problem structuring and strategic analysis.Executive level presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tell a story using data.Ability to communicate, partner, and build productive working relationships all at levels of the organization.Able to work and learn quickly in a fast paced, fun and dynamic environment.Proven track record of being a great team member and culture carrier with a positive attitude.RequirementsFinancial Planning & Analysis and Accounting experience including financial modeling, journal entry development, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting (GAAP), and GL management.Experience in annual expense budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, macros, charting, etc.), Microsoft PowerPoint, and Power BI (data management, design).Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business.Minimum of 8 years experience in finance and/or accounting.Physical & Office/Site Presence RequirementsCandidates should be willing to work on-site in the Miami headquarters 5 days per week.This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
