As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to any security-related concerns, and support access control procedures as needed. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be required to operate a vehicle during your patrols. Sat 05:30 PM - 05:30 AMWhat You’ll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for potential hazards or unusual conditions within the chemical and petrochemical environment, reporting findings as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
Document incidents and observations according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points during patrols.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required for driving positions.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
