This Announcement is Ongoing and will be used to fill a Limited Number of Paid Intern Position/s for the Winter SemesterThe Pardons and Paroles Internship ExperienceThe goal of our internship program is to provide a nontraditional multi-faceted approach that allows interns to develop insight, interest, and exposure in specialty areas never before considered in a Law Enforcement Agency. Interns will have the opportunity to work briefly in all units and divisions of the Parole Board to include Human Resources, Budget, Victims Services, Clemency, and Field Services.We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our agency by assisting the work units with projects as assigned. To be successful as an Intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by a supervisor. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current campaigns Provides administrative support to assigned area. Provides technical assistance to customers and staff. Reviews and processes transactions in assigned area, and makes program-related determinations. Verifies data and/or monitors compliance of assigned transactions with agency procedures, policies and/or specifications.Agency Minimum Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful alien, junior, senior, or graduate level college student in good standing, with a minimum GPA of 2.5, and must have a recommendation from faculty member.Student enrolled in a Georgia high school, technical college, or university/college. Must be currently enrolled during the internship.
