
Pediatric Occupational Therapist

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, client-centered treatment plans to address functional limitations and achieve meaningful goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living (ADLs) training, instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and environmental modifications.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on compensatory strategies, home modifications, and safety precautions.
- Assess and recommend specialized equipment (e.g., mobility aids, splints, assistive technology) and instruct on their proper use.
- Document patient evaluations, progress, and interventions accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., PTs, SLPs, physicians) to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- Proof of current (or pending state licensure) as an Occupational Therapist in respective state
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations.
