Overview of the ProgramThe Harris Products Group's Technical Sales Development Program is the ideal entry point for those looking to grow their sales career. Your experience with customer interaction, problem solving, and solution selling puts you in a position to follow any number of career paths, including sales management, product management, marketing and communications - in addition to core engineering-related opportunities based on academic specialty.You will participate in an orientation at our world headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. Our comprehensive sales training program will continue at the Mason, Ohio Harris Products Group headquarters.Potential Projects
Visit various end users and distributors to identify key sales issues
Participate in hands-on welding demonstrations
Promote products at distributor open houses
Update customers on new products
Assist Technical Sales Representatives with training end users
Complete a guaranteed cost reduction project at an end user's location
Basic QualificationsPursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in a STEM or Business field by June 2026Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications
A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a Business-related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Desire to work in a manufacturing environment
Willing to relocate and travel
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
