Job SummaryAllvue Systems is seeking an exceptional Head of Product, Credit Segment to lead our Credit Portfolio Management and Fund Finance product lines. This is a senior leadership role combining deep product management expertise with general management responsibilities, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution capabilities. The successful candidate will drive product strategy, lead a team of 3 direct reports, and shape the future of credit investment technology in an era of rapid AI and data analytics advancement.ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Vision· Define and execute comprehensive product strategy for Credit Portfolio Management and Fund Finance solutions· Develop forward-looking product roadmaps that anticipate market needs and leverage emerging technologies including AI, data analytics, and document intelligence· Lead modernization of existing product portfolio, bringing current solutions into the new era of AI and data analytics· Drive product innovation that differentiates Allvue in the competitive landscape· Identify, evaluate, and integrate with ecosystem partners to extend product offerings and increase client value· Establish product positioning and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teamsGeneral Management & Commercial Leadership· Function as a GM-level leader with strategic accountability for the credit segment· Build and maintain deep relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders· Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats· Drive revenue growth through strategic product decisions and market expansion· Represent Allvue at industry conferences, client meetings, and thought leadership forums· Team Leadership & Development· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 direct reports comprising product managers· Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer outcomes and innovation· Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams· Build organizational capabilities to support long-term growth objectivesMarket & Client Engagement· Maintain deep understanding of private credit market dynamics, regulatory environment, and client needs· Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, validate product concepts, and ensure customer satisfaction· Analyze market trends in CLOs, private debt, and private credit to inform product decisions· Serve as internal and external subject matter expert on credit investment workflows and technologyRequirementsDomain Expertise· 10+ years of experience in private market investing with specific focus on CLOs, private debt, and/or private credit· Deep understanding of credit portfolio management workflows, analytics, and reporting requirements· Knowledge of fund finance operations and related technology needs· Strong grasp of regulatory requirements affecting private credit marketsProduct Management Excellence· 15+ years of senior product management experience, preferably in financial technology· Experience at private equity-backed companies or mid-size software companies· Proven track record of launching successful products and driving revenue growth· Experience with agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management· Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilitiesLeadership & Business Acumen· Demonstrated success in general management or GM-type roles· Prior P&L ownership experience strongly preferred· Experience managing and developing high-performing product teams· Strong commercial instincts with ability to identify market opportunities· Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiencesTechnology Vision· Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics applications in financial services· Knowledge of document intelligence and automation technologies· Ability to translate business requirements into technical product specifications· Experience working with engineering teams to deliver complex software solutionsExperience· Previous experience at financial technology companies serving institutional investors· Background in management consulting or investment banking· Track record of successful product launches in competitive markets· Experience with SaaS business models and metrics· English (reading, writing, verbal). Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both individuals at all levels, including the executive level.
