The Trading Support Specialist on the Trading Desk will support the transactional activities of the trading and pooling teams. The role will include data entry of trades, supporting the back office Assignment of Trades (AOT) & Gestation paperwork, daily reconciliation and confirmation of the margin call requests and tracking and documenting daily market data. Expected to perform multiple functions across the Secondary Marketing area, inclusive of routine operational work and trade support, with direct supervision.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Data reconciliation, validation, analysis, and comparison
Entering trade details daily to ensure accurate positioning when hedging the loan pipeline
Confirming trades with counterparties and resolving any discrepancies that may arise
Confirming and supporting any daily margin calls and monthly pair-offs
Inputting spec payups in QRM/shiplog
Processing the GNMA Gestation and Assignment of Trades (AOT) paperwork
Setting up new investors and supporting any investor requests for information
Supporting the production of Capital Markets related reports, including generating daily metrics and compiling information from multiple sourcesUpdating processes & procedures, creating work flows & enhancing documentation
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUMust Have Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in Excel, with ability to utilize PIVOTs, VLookup, & other analytical functions required.
Ability to write SQL queries or experience with databases and systems.
Experience in the completion of daily deadline-driven tasks and projects dealing with analytical data and information
Experience in finance-related areas, including budgeting, accounting, and auditing required
Extreme attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes
Reliable and dependable with a strong willingness to learn
High School Diploma
Nice to Have Qualifications:
College Degree, with a major in Business/Finance/Economics, or other relevant coursework
Mortgage experience
