Join our team and let’s continue making chocolate lovers happy!A Day in the Life…As the Accounting Manager, you will lead and oversee the company’s general accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and serve as a key partner in delivering high-quality, reliable financial information the executive team.You will report directly to the Corporate Controller and have a high level of visibility with the CFO and Vice Presidents across departments, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on strategic decision-making.What you will be doing….
Manage and develop a team of 2-3 direct reports
Perform and supervise monthly close activities, including preparation of monthly financial reporting
Identify and implement process improvements
Partner with shared services organization to coordinate treasury activities and effectively manage the Company’s bank accounts
Coordinate internal control compliance
Coordinate tax compliance
Coordinate annual external audit activities
Special projects implementation
Do you have what it takes…(Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or similar degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Do you stand above the rest…(Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or 4 CPA exams passed
Proven track record of managing and developing people
Highly detail oriented and organized in work
Strong team player
Strong excel skills
Has excellent critical thinking as well as analytical skills
Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
SAP Experience
