AltaStaff is a staffing agency currently looking for a part-time Telemedicine Physician to work with our Managed Care Client to complete chart reviews!Job Position: Physician IIILocation: Remote (Must be licensed in Texas)Pay Rate: $175.00/hrHours: 2 hours per assigned NP per month; 4 hours per monthSummary: Physician will be supporting Care Connections, a strategic partner to Managed Care Organizations committed to engaging and connecting with members to improve their quality of health and lives by utilizing Nurse Practitioners in the right place, at the right time, via telehealthResponsibilities:Chart Reviews will be completed via Telehealth. All Supervising physician responsibilities can be completed telephonicallyPhysician will be required to complete 2-5 hours per assigned NP per month (can be assigned up to 4 NP's)Conduct a monthly Quality Chart reviews of a 10% representative sample or a minimum of two (2) chart reviews, whichever is greaterComply with state requirements to meet with assigned NP's to review and discuss chart documentation and quality of careBe available by phone or electronic means of communication during the NP's working hours (40 hours per week)Serve as a supervising and collaborating physician in accordance with applicable law and terms and conditions of the NP Collaborative Practice Protocol AgreementLiability insurance will be provided for physicians' claims arising solely and exclusively from Physician's delivery of professional services relating to Physician's Supervision and Collaboration services provided to NP'sPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSMD Licensure Required for the state of TexasBoard Certified in Family Medicine1-3 Telehealth/Telemedicine Experience RequiredEPIC EMR experience preferredPC proficiency including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, database experience and Web based applicationsAltaStaff is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
