- Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of production and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machinery issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks that often involve physical maneuvering of heavy equipment and tools.
- Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and maintenance documentation.
- Monitor machine performance and assist in developing strategies for equipment longevity.
- Install and optimize electrical control systems used in facility operations.
- Read and interpret schematics and PLC ladder logic diagrams.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to improve automation and system reliability.
- Participate in capital projects and machine modifications, including the physical setup and integration of control systems.
- Stay informed about new technologies and tools that can reduce downtime and enhance safety.
- Complete corrective and preventive maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Engage in initiatives to improve equipment efficiency and workplace ergonomics.
- Consistently follow OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and internal safety regulations.
- Ensure that all tasks, including those involving heavy lifting and equipment handling, are performed with proper safety measures.
- High School Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, OR
- Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills, including schematic reading.
- Experience with electronic test tools, soldering, welding, and use of hand/power tools.
- Comfortable working at heights and operating forklifts or elevated work platforms.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting items over 50 lbs when necessary.
