Material Handler – Contract Opportunity with Yoh at L3Harris located in Henrietta, NY.Yoh is seeking Material Handlers to support our client, L3Harris, a leader in aerospace and defense technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You will Be Doing: As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. You will perform both physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and equipment.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Receiving and unpacking incoming materials; verifying against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inspecting materials for quantity, weight, and identification accuracy.
  • Maintaining accurate records of received goods, including freight bills and packing slips.
  • Stocking inventory in designated storage locations.
  • Picking and distributing items to manufacturing lines based on bills of materials.
  • Preparing and packing items for internal and external delivery, ranging from small kits to large systems.
  • Operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cranes, forklifts) after certification.
  • Standing for the duration of your shift and lifting heavy items as needed.
Available Shifts & Pay Rates:
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM | $17.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM | $18.70/hr
  • 3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM | $21.25/hr
  • 4th Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM | $22.95/hr
Note: All new hires must be available for 2 weeks of training, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. What You Bring to the Table:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screenings, including:
