Their work is aligned to and supportive of the SBU product strategy and enables them to develop their product management skills, product knowledge and understanding of the business. They have solid communication skills, analytical ability, and relationships within the organization to deliver results.What You Will Do:Assists with the development of product line strategies and managing product portfolios.Gathers and analyzes data for Product Life Cycle Management, product strategy, and business cases such as sales trends, market/channel trends, quality issues, customer/consumer feedback, competitive intelligence, warranty data, etc. and makes recommendations for the product line.Maintains knowledge of the markets and channels of the product line(s) as well as consumer/customer needs, industry trends and go-to market strategy to build an understanding of the competitive landscape for the business & how to assess market opportunities and threatsSupports product life cycle activities such as new product development, quality and VAVE initiatives, marketing materials, price book updates and other related support activitiesUnderstand and assess the performance of product line(s) through financial metrics & KPIs to recommend adjustments and changes to their work and positively influence business performanceBuilds and maintains authentic and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Collaborates with stakeholders across the organization and clearly communicates updates and information on tasks and projects to team members and stakeholderWhat You Need to Succeed:2+ years of experience in product management, engineering, finance, sales or related experienceBachelor’s degree in business, engineering or technical fieldDeveloping business and financial acumen with ability to connect metrics to business performance and recommended actionsStrong analytical skills with the ability to analyze various sources of data & identify opportunitiesAbility to communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholdersProven experience executing on strategic tasks, maintaining deadlines & ensuring appropriate communicationDemonstrated ability to conceptualize, integrate, and execute new solutions within a businessAbility to travel up to 25%.
