The Project Accountant will be supporting, tracking and ensuring accuracy of financials for the construction projects our client is leading. In addition, completing a variety of tasks and increasing their knowledge on overall project accounting!
  • Track and manage project budgets, costs, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and process owner billings, subcontractor payments, and change orders
  • Monitor job cost accounting and report monthly progress
  • Ensure all pay applications, lien waivers, union reporting, and certified payroll reports are submitted accurately and on time
  • Assist in the review of contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance documents
  • Coordinate with field teams and vendors to ensure smooth project accounting processes
  • Support project closeout procedures from a financial perspective

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting experience, specific to construction industry
  • Strong understanding of the following areas: pay applications, lien waivers, union reporting, certified payroll reports, job costing, and AIA billing
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
