
NPI Staff Technical Program Manager

- Manage a team of NPI project engineers to drive ECRs and Programs from evaluation to execution, this includes but is not limited to engineering changes affecting a part used in the manufacturing process
- Drive NPI activities in new programs such as:
- Part readiness
- Line readiness ensuring changes affected by new parts
- MBOM updates on timely manner
- Timely escalation for proper correction of critical items that represent a risk to a new program or to current production
- Participate in Engineering Change Request meetings to understand the scope of changes and determine assessment criteria based on the nature of approved changes
- Coordinate and ensure effectivity of ECR new parts trials, ensure proper documentation and disciplined execution
- Gain holistic knowledge of the product, production processes, and manufacturing technologies in order to understand and mitigate risks, as well as to recognize optimization opportunities
- Work with cross functional teams to understand the critical actions necessary for successful introduction of new features, capabilities, and products, and ensure those needs will be met ahead of deployment
- Maintain and communicate project timelines and coordinate NPI and project related plant activities
- Coordinate and manage all vehicle material cut-over activity
- Manage the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) for the Mid Size program(s)
- Continuously improve NPI processes and systems to ensure effectivity and proper use of time
- Engineering or STEM Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 8+ years in New Product Introduction or Manufacturing Engineering required
- Experience in the automotive industry or product design is a must
- Experience in Manufacturing is a must
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
- Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company
- Working knowledge of Catia
- Possess knowledge and experience across multiple functions within product design and manufacturing
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
