RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineer to reinforce our team with broad and deep technical skills, strong discipline, and relentless customer focus.This role will join a team laser-focused on the success of our flagship product, e-Plansoft Review. A successful candidate will collaborate with the customer success team, work hand-in-hand with devops and product management, come up to speed quickly with our architecture and code base, and make an immediate contribution to customer satisfaction. Our highest priority is to support and grow our customers, but there will be opportunities for growth and greenfield development.Our stack is Angular, Typescript, Node.js, REST and GraphQL, MySQL and PostgresQL, and Kubernetes on AWS. We both with and for AI. This role is full-stack, and will involve troubleshooting and development from the front end all the way down to back end database and infrastructure. We are a devops organization – everyone is hands-on in AWS.What you’ll do:Work closely with the dev team and product management in a lightweight agile environment with 2-week sprintsWork effectively async and collaborate heavily with Slack, Zoom, etc.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix incoming customer support and operational issuesOwn your code and shepherd each PR through the SDLC into successful release to productionDocument your designs and collaborate on team design reviewsCode review PRs and pair program with your teammatesImplement new features and infrastructure improvementsDive deep into AWS – monitor, investigate, fix, improveThis role is fully remote. Travel is not required, though we may have occasional offsites. We strive for a sustainable pace while balancing responsiveness to our customers. Work hours are flexible, but consistent communication and availability during core hours are critical to success and off-hours support is occasionally required. Eastern or Central time zone presence is preferred, and Chicago, IL, Nashville, TN or Columbus, OH is a bonus.What you bringMust-haves:Minimum three years experience with full stack software developmentMinimum one year experience building cloud-based software – AWS is a plus but Azure, GCP, and comparable offerings are acceptableExperience with SQL and middleware/API development (REST or GraphQL)B.S. in computer science or a related field, or comparable industry experience and trainingNice to have:Experience supporting and maintaining SaaS software in production at scaleEKS, Kubernetes, and RancherAngular and ReactExperience with accessibility-first development
