Our programming is based on elite athletic training principles and brought to life in a motivating team environment.BFT Oakland is seeking a Senior Coach to lead high-quality group fitness sessions, mentor our coaching team, and help drive the success of our studio community.Role OverviewThe Senior Coach is a key leadership role, responsible for creating an exceptional training environment while setting the standard for professionalism, energy, and coaching excellence. This position requires proven group fitness experience, strong leadership skills, and an active Personal Training Certification (required).The ideal candidate will bring both technical knowledge and the ability to inspire members and fellow coaches, while also contributing to studio operations, sales, and community engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead high-energy, results-driven BFT group fitness classes.Mentor and develop junior coaches, ensuring consistent coaching quality.Support scheduling, programming, and daily studio operations.Contribute to member growth through sales and engagement strategies.Represent the BFT brand through community outreach and social media content.Uphold safety and technical standards to deliver effective workouts.RequirementsPersonal Training Certification (Required) candidate' without certification will not be considered.Minimum 2-3 years of group fitness or personal training experience.Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.Ability to motivate diverse groups and foster a supportive training environment.Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends or events.Why Join BFT Oakland?As a Senior Coach, you'll be instrumental in shaping the member experience and elevating the coaching team.
