Reports to: Tax Manager/Senior ManagerJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Staff Accountant to join our growing tax team. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing federal, state, and local tax returns, perform tax research, and support clients and internal teams with compliance and planning.Key Responsibilities:Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returnsAssist with tax planning and consulting projectsMaintain client relationships and respond to inquiries in a timely mannerResearch tax issues and summarize findingsKeep up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax lawEnsure accuracy and compliance in all tax filingsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (required)CPA or CPA candidate preferred1–4 years of tax or accounting experience (internships count)Familiarity with tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax)Strong Excel and general computer skillsExcellent analytical and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesBenefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysCPA exam support and continuing educationWhy Join This Firm?✅ Flexible scheduling
